Huh? I honestly was just trying for irony. I guess I only managed Alanis Morissette-level irony.

I mean, it was just a dream. And they sometimes inspire me to do weird foods. Like once, when I dreamt that I was eating a backwards dinner, and it inspired me to try making a dessert pesto. I didn’t bother to think whether the guy in my dream was good or bad. He just was creepy.

I liked the odd juxtaposition – like these dark and sinister guys are like a fluffy cake with delicious chocolate chips inside. I guess that I could’ve done crème brûlée instead (for the bitter and crusty outside and the creamy sweet center), but I really don’t like crème brûlée. Maybe I just have cakes on the brain – I should probably do some more experimentation on entrees.

Well, you can see the whole faces of those guys, so not quite. That opening scene, after the yelling old guy goes away, is much like what I dreamt about. But taller. Though the blue field he had in his hand was very close to what I saw in my dream. And the creepy atmosphere was right.

It sounds kind of silly when I type it out… like some sort of evil group in suits is out to get me, like I’m sort of conspiracy nut. Probably just saw too many movies that use that motif or something. But hey, it inspired a delicious cake – can’t complain about that.
